本片改编自劳伦斯·奥斯本同名小说，小说故事描绘了在摩洛哥沙漠中，一对英国夫妇和当地人在一个豪华别墅的周末聚会上相遇的悲剧。　　Speeding through the Moroccan desert to attend an old friend’s lavish weekend party, wealthy Londoners David and Jo Henninger (Ralph Fiennes and Jessica Chastain) are involved in a tragic accident with a local teenage boy. Arriving late at the grand villa with the debauched party raging, the couple attempts to cover up the incident with the collusion of the local police. But when the boy’s father arrives seeking justice, the stage is set for a tension-filled culture clash in which David and Jo must come to terms with their fateful act and its shattering consequences.

在国外，莫名想看剧情片，看到杰西卡·查斯坦,拉尔夫·费因斯,马特·史密斯,阿比·丽,卡赖伯·兰德里·琼斯,阿历克斯·杰宁斯,克里斯托弗·阿波特,玛丽-乔西·克罗兹,萨伊德·塔格马奥,Anas El Baz,David McSavage,Mourad Zaoui,本·阿凡,Ismael Kanater,Imane El Mechrafi,阿卜杜拉赫·查基里这个阵容本来还是有点小期待。结果，哎...很是失望，奇奇怪怪尴尴尬尬，剧情也一言难尽...虽然现在都在拍主旋律都在拍正剧，但也不能这种充数，演员和剧本还是硬功夫。什么时候我们也能拍出那种能够真正吸引人的剧呢？

题材大胆、现实立意深刻，抓住社会痛点，剧本扎实。英国在影视创方面的确很厉害，希望剧情片多来点这种影视剧，强烈安利大家这部《宽恕2021》。

《宽恕2021》可太精彩了。前部分就爆了，好爽。节奏很好，有反转感，不错。期待导演约翰·迈克尔·麦克唐纳后续给力点，多拍点这种片子。

约翰·迈克尔·麦克唐纳拍的的《宽恕2021》，从剧情风格到配色配音我本人并不太喜欢，但不得不说，会抄也是一种本事，《宽恕2021》至少比某些天马行空胡乱自创影楼装服饰满天飞的剧要好的多。

《宽恕2021》的演员表演都很自然，剧情和人物也比较合理，没有太多的刻板印象，特别是在人物塑造上非常好，尤其是演员杰西卡·查斯坦,拉尔夫·费因斯,马特·史密斯,阿比·丽,卡赖伯·兰德里·琼斯,阿历克斯·杰宁斯,克里斯托弗·阿波特,玛丽-乔西·克罗兹,萨伊德·塔格马奥,Anas El Baz,David McSavage,Mourad Zaoui,本·阿凡,Ismael Kanater,Imane El Mechrafi,阿卜杜拉赫·查基里饰演的人物特别到位。
